(Photo by Patipat Janthong)The royal cremation ceremonies for the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej are scheduled for Oct 25-29 with the cremation proper to be held on Thursday Oct 26, which has been declared a public holiday. On Oct 26, the body of the late King will be moved from the throne hall to the royal crematorium at Sanam Luang where the royal cremation will be held. On Oct 27, following the cremation, a royal ceremony will be held to collect the royal relics of the late King at the royal crematorium. On Oct 28, a royal merit-making rite for the royal relics will be held in the Dusit Maha Prasat Throne Hall.
